About the Pack:
‘My First Islamic Activity Pack’ is made by UmmAssadHomeschool.com and aims to help young children aged 4-8 years to understand themselves and the world around them from a pure Islamic point of view (only authentic resources from the Quran, Hadith and trusted Scholars have been used).
It introduces the correct Islamic Aqeedah with fun yet challenging activities without losing the message; also nurturing a child’s belief and love for Allah and His Messenger and familiarising them to follow evidences.
All topics included are based on Aqeedah, teaching the most beneficial knowledge (Islam) and asking questions that matter most such as ‘Who is you Lord’ and ‘Who is your Prophet’ and ‘What is your religion’. Explaining in simple terms the different types of creation and its purpose, thus leading into subjects such as Science and Geography.
The activities interact with children at their level whilst involving parent/guardian or teacher; a range of activities have been packed to keep any child productively busy in their ‘spare time’ such as letter, number and colour recognition, guided reading, writing, colouring, eye coordination skills, fine motor skills, quizzes, wordsearch games and much more. A must have for any child beginning to study Islam.

- Read the instructions to your child on each page.
- Download the FREE Flashcards on pages 22, 23, 24 and 56.

As a new muslim walhamdulillah I spent a lot of time on the internet trying to find a way to teach Islam to my kids, especially my youngest daughter who is six. I remember coming across your book and I instantly fell in love with it because it was simplified for little minds to understand, followed Islamic guidelines (no faces, etc) and it was and still is fun for her (I printed it out a year ago). It teaches the basics of aqeedah in a simple easy to understand way for her (and for me because sometimes the lectures confuse even me lol).

Going through this workbook, I’m amazed and how well put together it is and how it has gathered so beautifully the first lessons and aspects of knowledge of both the deen and dunya which we would like to teach our children. Especially including the basics of Aqeedah and Tawheed. Alhamdulillah, it also works as a manual making it easy to teach children step by step, and you can refer to the different topics it covers to help build your teaching. It beautifully gathers together reading and writing in different formats and through various activities whilst being aesthetically pleasing to the eye; which is so important for children. This would be so great to gift. I just discovered this website and it is such a blessing especially because it can be difficult finding resources which are trustworthy and authentic. And I would recommend this pack since it is extremely useful not just for someone who might be interested in homeschooling, but who might want to supplement their child’s education with Islamic education and teachings. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this pack alongside ALL packs on this blog – my son learnt all his English basics from the English printable and the Arabic one mirrors that one – so you know what your teaching your child is going to be the basics that you would need to know not random fruits and veg that no ones heard of!

I am glad that someone has taken the initiative to do an activity book based on Islam for kids which will be beneficial to both parents and children, since teaching kids is not easy especially when you want authentic ilm (knowledge) to be taught to your kids. It was just recently that I followed you on instagram and the reason is between me and Allaah تعل. Even though you are in a place that I considered to be far from where I live presently, I thought to myself that I (and my yet to be formed family which is going to start soon إن شاء الله) can benefit from following you. What do I mean by benefiting from you? It is the hope that one day, I will be able to buy some of these books from you for my “children” and my wife will then able to teach them through your books, because the plan is for me to have them taught at home by my spouse.

This is a valuable pack, sometimes I think we forget how important the basics are and this is just the reminder you need, I intend to get my 8yr old to go through it with my 4yr old… with supervision of course! As the reminder benefits the believer and even though the 8yr old may have covered some of it before, I believe teaching it and going over it again will increase his confidence and inshaa’Allaah it will be an ongoing reward for him when his little sisters learns this valuable knowledge

There is something I would like to ask you about the pack though. Is it Tawheed Al Uloohiyya or Tawheed Al Illayhiyya? Or are both correct?

Tawheed al-Uloohiyyah and al-Illaahiyyah (Oneness in worship) and are taken from authentic books; The ‘Explanation of the Three fundamental principles of Islam’ by Muhammad ibn Saalih al-Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him), and the children Tawheed book ‘Islamic Creed for Children’ by Shaykh Khalid ‘Uthman (May Allah preserve him).

Secondly I absolutely love this activity pack, forget about my three year old, I’m using it for myself first as I lack knowledge and I have learnt quite a bit alhumdulilah, obviously some of the stuff there I feel my son is a little young to fully comprehend but its very useful to slowly implement day by day I really enjoyed it, and love the fact that there’s a bit of everything not just one topic or thing to do and learn. May Allah reward you imensly and look forward to any future packs!! Barakallahu feeki
